I’m soooo sick and tired of strangers at shops and in the public being RUDE and NASTY to me for no reason when/if I cannot hear them or don’t respond to their questions because I’m Deaf. Then, when they find out I am Deaf, they act all apologey and fakeass. Assholes !!!
People are always rude for no reason. They could have been polite even if I don’t hear them. I always make it a point to try to smile or be polite to everyone in public, because I want to be treated with respect, so I treat others with respect.
Anyway, I’ve always wanted to wear a shirt that says… I’M DEAF, BITCH! and now I can finally point to my shirt if a stranger is rude to me in public!!!
This is for all you proud Deafies who refuse to apologize for being Deaf. Never apologize for not hearing others or not being able to understand others.
